Message I just changed my timming belt on my automatic and the way you get it broke loose it to take an old drive belt and wrap it around the crank pulley then loop the excess over to an a/c bolt. Then when you put pressure on the bolt to break it loose the belt will tigeten up and hold ithe crank in place.

You can also look in the faq for changing the timming belt. Here is the link: [ http://www.ttzd.com/tech/timingbelt/beltwrap.html ]

Hope this helps!
